Writer's Spot

“I feel a calling to write no matter how renowned my work becomes. It’s what God wants of me right now. I’ll do it until he changes my assignment.” Gloria M. Stockstill

Gloria McQueen Stockstill felt the call to write when she was a young woman. Over the years, she has authored four re-told children’s books; The Blind Man by the Road, To the Town of Bethlehem, Jesus Rose on Easter Morn, The Basket in the River, as well as school curriculum, ministry-oriented books, plays, and magazine publications. Several of her ministry seminars, co-authored with her husband, have been presented to congregations abroad.

Gloria has recently published a women’s devotion book titled, Stretch Marks: Devotions for the Not-So-Perfect Woman.

Gloria’s well-honed sense of humor has allowed her to connect with audiences of all ages through both her writing and speaking. Her desire is to reach others for Christ and disciple them to Christian maturity. She feels God has chosen her to use her gifts to do this through both the written and spoken word.
