Dear friends, here I am . . . late but here never the less here. I am sitting in McDonald's in Parker AZ. It is the only place I can get wiifi.
I have a suggestion for all of you travelers. NEVER come to the river to camp this time of year. It is HOT, HOT, HOT! Not only is it hot, our air conditioner froze up last night and we nearly died (well, maybe not died but it felt like it!). I am still puzzled how an air conditioner can freeze up in weather that can fry an egg on the pavement!
We sold our motor home and purchased a fifth wheel. So far I have hit my head six times getting in and out of bed. Even Wayne asked me when I was going to learn that the cabinet was there. I DID NOT appreciate that!!
I think my brain is fried so I hope this makes sense. I don't make any promises!
I have four friends sitting at another table while I try to get inspired to write the blog. Their laughter and silliness in NOT helping me. But, hey, you put up with things when they are friends, right? :D
I am thankful for friends. They add so much to my life.
I have another friend. His name is Jesus. I am thankful for him, too. He adds so much to my life. In fact, I wouldn't have a life without him! He's always there to encourage me on when I think I can't possible get through what I am having to live. He's there to comfort me when sorrow engulfs me and makes me feel I will drown in the sorrow. He's there to be my companion when I feel alone and think no one cares.
Do you regularly praise and thank Jesus for always being with you, whatever your situation? I really think we often appreciate his presence but fail to thank and praise him for always being there.
Take a test. Think about: how much time this past week was spent thanking and praising Jesus? Do you need to increase that activity? As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
Hoping I don't neglect my praising and thanking Jesus for being with me in all things, Gloria

Thanks for the reminder, Gloria. Have fun traveling and watch your head!
Tina, I think the total I hit my head was nine. I'm thinking II will remember the next time we camp. Surely I couldn't do that a second time!!!
