I went to the dermatologist this week. She froze some spots on my face. Now I look even worse than I did before, and that's saying something! Too bad she could not have frozen off all those age spots. That would have taken a few weeks, I'm sure!!
I don't know why they say they are going to freeze something on your face. When they spray that "stuff" on, it burns like crazy! Well, now my "frozen" face has nice little sore looking things on it (along with the age spots, of course). No amount of makeup is going to cover these babies. At least I can be thankful it is not permanent!
Even though it is painful, I appreciate that she eliminated spots which could become cancerous. That would be far more serious than a few sores on my face!
God eliminates spots, too. These spots are called sins. They are cancers in our lives that could destroy the abundant life God wants us to live. We must allow the Great Physician, the Holy Spirit to remove those spots. It may be a little painful, but the results will be well worth it!
