Paula, Ina, and Giada Have Nothing To Fear

Paula, Ina, and Giada (don't have time to check my spelling but I bet you know of whom I speak) of the Food Network have no need to fear me. I may be a good cook (at least my family thinks so) but I could never be a food network host. Do THEY have flour from the top of their heads to the tips of their toes? Do they drop the ingredients on the floor and have to start over? Do they forget to put the pie crust in the pan before they put the berries in? No, you never see that, do you?

I guess I'll just have to remain an anonymous cook, with the exception of family and friends. No problem for me. After all, they say when you are on TV you look 20 pounds heavier than you really are. I don't think that will work!!!!

I want to wish you all a blessed Christmas. Amazing! God sent his Son, Jesus, born of a virgin with a cradle of straw, lived a sinless life, died for our sins so we wouldn't have to. Now that is something to celebrate!!

Love to all and
Merry Christmas!!!  Gloria

P.S. I started this several hours ago but got sidetracked and forgot to finish it and post. I fear the new year is going to be the same as this year!!

Gloria,
I didn't know you started back with your blog posts! You should've told me. I bought 2 copies of your devotion book for my mom and grandma for Christmas. Grandma has already started it; she's 88 and in Iowa. She really enjoys it!

BTW, do you have any fiction books coming out? I was tagged in a blog hop and wanted to know if you wanted to answer questions about your next book, if u have one. Let me know! email: tinamariecho@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Tina, I only post on Mondays(if I remember!). Sorry I didn't let you know.

I am working on a picture book about women of World War II. Pelican Publishing as agreed to look at it. I did lots of research this summer, even went to Texas Woman's University and spent about three days doing research. They have the greatest collection of women who were in the Air Force during the war.

Does the book have to be finished?

Tina, thanks for buying my books! I am thrilled to know your grandmother is enjoying it. I hope she will get some laughs and some inspiration.

Do you have an Amazon account? Would appreciate if you (and they) would give me a rating.

Happy New Year to you and yours!!!

Just came back and read your comments. Sorry, my 88 yr old grandma does NOT do computers. She never has. I can rate the book, but I haven't read it. I'm sure Mom will share it when she's done.

That's cool Pelican is interested in this WWII women ms. Sounds like a lot of research! Hope it's accepted!
