Rising Or Falling

Well, I'm back to posting. After the ordeal I've gone through with this computer stuff, I wish we were still writing on stone tablets! I can't believe how difficult it is to figure out some of this techno babble. It's for sure I'll never be called a computer geek. But, the computer started it (is that something like, "But, Mom, she started it!"?). Like now. I've noticed extra spaces between stuff and techno. I've tried to fix it but "you know who" won't let me. So, if you see them after I post, it really is the computer!

Have you noticed how much of life is filled with these little frustrations. Actually, not getting on the Internet is a BIG frustration to me. But, you get the point.

Life just never seems to go exactly as we want it. The kid will flush a toy down the toilet and you have to stick your hand down there to get it (YUK!). You realize you're out of gas just as you're rushing out to meet someone. You notice you forgot to put your slip on and it's a real sunny day. Okay, most of you don't have that problem. That's more a thing I would do! I'm sure we could all have a laugh (or not) about things that have happened to you.

Why can't life be easy? Well, I'm sure there are lots of reasons but I know one. The BIGGIE is SIN.

Yep. that's our major problem. Sin came into world and with it came frustration, unpleasantness, fear, hatred, jealousy, murder, lust, gossip, lying. Wow! No wonder life can't be easy!

Frustrations are going to be part of our life. Big frustrations. Little frustrations. Just plan on having them. They can either drag you down or raise you to a higher level. If you choose to not let them make you react in an ungodly way, you rise a level, you grow more like Christ. If you let them drag you down, you lose the joy that is to be yours. And, you probably make someone close to you lost their joy, too. You know what I mean, don't you?

So, plan on frustration today. Just handle it wisely and rise a level. You'll be glad you did!

Hoping to rise and not fall today, Gloria
