God Made The Right Decision

I survived my doctor's appointment. The nurse didn't even gasp when she saw what I weighed! I bet the doctor has warned her not to react when she sees the scales. It could be bad for business!

Why can't we go back to the days of yore. You've seen the pictures in museums haven't you? Did you see any really skinny ladies back then? Not likely! Their somewhat plump bodies were usually sprawled out on a lounge. Although I didn't see any, they were probably eating bonbons.

Now, I could fit into those kind of pictures. Alas, I guess I was born too late. This era is for the pencil thin. I doubt that is ever going to happen to me. So, I guess I'll either have to bemoan my being dropped into the wrong era or go on a diet. No more bonbons?

Actually, God determined both when and to whom I was to be born. Had it all mapped out before the foundation of the world. So, I am here at this point in time for a reason. God ordained it.

Do you ever bemoan where God has placed you? Do you wish he had placed you in another era, another family, another situation? God doesn't make mistakes. His plan and purpose for your life can be accomplished right where you are, no matter what your circumstances.
