Going With God's Flow

My apologies to those who came to my blog early yesterday and found the same post. I wrote a new one Sunday night and set it to post at 1:05 AM. At least that's what I thought. When I checked Monday morning, there was the old post! They were going to post it at 1:05 PM.

The last few days have NOT been flowing smoothly! The old statement, "Go with the flow," came to mind as I mopped floors for unexpected guests who would soon be arriving, when I cleaned up from an overflowing toilet and when posts I thought I had taken care of did not get posted.

Just what does "go with the flow" really mean? Does it mean that I "go with the flow" when things come my way that would tend to make me frustrated and worried? If that's what it means, it's a scriptural concept.

God told us to "worry about nothing." Yes. You read it right. No incorrect wording there. It said worry about NOTHING.

I can't worry about anything? How about just a few things, God? No? Not even a few things?

What will I do with all that thinking time if I don't worry! Does God know how he's going to mess up my schedule if I do what he said? I'll have so much "free" time in my brain. What will I think about?

The Bible has the answer there, too. It says,

Whatever is true, honest, right, pure, lovely, excellent,
worthy of praise, think on these.

Maybe I should go with God's flow and not worry. Instead I'll think on the things he listed. They seem like pretty good things to think on, don't you think (pun intended)?

Hoping to think the way God said I should, Gloria
