Yesterday I posted about my Facebook being hacked into. I received a comment from "non anonymous". I posted it then decided it was not the thing to do. Since I didn't know how to delete the comment, I simply deleted the entire post. This blog is not to debate religion. It is simply what I am feeling or thinking. I hope that I always convey the love of Jesus to those who read my posts.
I have no desire to condemn anyone. How can I? I have been forgiven of so much by Jesus! However, those who read this blog need to know that I believe faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved from our sins and be assured of going to heaven. Of course, there are those who disagree with that. I cannot convince them otherwise. That is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Now, on to lighter things!
On Saturday, I gave blood at the Disaster Preparedness Conference. Wouldn't you just know, when they stuck the needle in me, they hit a tendon instead of a vein. Much pain! Now I have a nice black and blue mark on my arm. And my arm is still hurting. I thought giving blood would be a breeze. So much for that idea!
Some people think being a Christian will be a breeze, ask Jesus into your heart, get a ticket on the glory bound train and have a life down here that's a piece of cake. NOT!
I believe the more we live the Christ-life the more we will see struggles in our lives. Jesus even told us we would have persecution. Funny, for a long time I seemed to miss those scriptures!
Still, I would not trade my life in Christ, struggles and suffering included, for anything the world has to offer. It's still the best option!
Not willing to trade the life with Jesus, Gloria
