I bought one of those external hard drives for my computer. I was afraid I would lose all the info I had stored on my PC. It got me to thinking. Since they have invented so many things for the computer that help with memory, even being able to add more, why can't they figure it out for the brain? It would surely make people like me happy. I'm losing all the info in my brain at a rapid pace. To be able to actually add more would be way cool! Too science fiction? Maybe not.
Who would have thought we could have put a man on the moon? Who would have thought we could find a cure for polio? Who thought we could create computers you can hold in your hand?
God has created each of us with fantastic abilities. True, some have more than others. I'm in the less group but I'm not complaining. The important thing is that we live up to our potential.
I believe God has a plan for every life. We just need to ask him to tell us what it is.
I also believe that, no matter our age, we are here for a purpose. If not, we'd be dead.
Wow! It is an awesome thought to consider that God has a plan for our lives. It may not be some world renowned thing like finding a cure for cancer. It may be devoting yourself to raising your children to walk in the ways of the Lord. Or, sharing the Good News of Jesus to those you meet. Or, feeding the hungry. Ask God to show you what he has purposed for your life and do it with all your heart and soul.
Even if you are on the down side of life. OK let's just say it. Even if you're old, God still has a reason for you being here. It's never too late to fulfill God's plan with what time you have left! My husband calls it "finishing well."
Hoping to finish well, Gloria
