Another weekend on its way. Geez, it seems I said that just yesterday. Where is my life going in such a hurry? I feel like I'm running behind the days yelling, "Wait! wait! You're going too fast."
Was it really five days ago I had lunch with friends, bought my computer and ate a sundae (the last was my confession). It seems that all happened only yesterday. If this keeps up, I'll be eighty by next Thursday!
The Bible says, "Life is a vapor. It appears for a little while and then vanishes away." Boy, is that true. I'm vanishing so fast I can hardly see the vapor!
That made me think. If my life down here is a vapor (and I can vouch for that) and my life in heaven will be eternal, shouldn't I be concentrating more on preparing for my time up there than my time down here?
Be careful you aren't so wrapped up in a life that is fleeting and aren't preparing yourself for eternity with God.
P.S. Eternity with God is only for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their savior. Need to know how to do that? Leave a comment so I can get back to you and I'll show you how.
Happy my life will not be a vapor in heaven, Gloria
