Photography

I'm so sorry for not having this posted until now. I woke up at 9:00 this morning. Of course, I didn't get much sleep before five so I guess I needed the rest!

Have you thought about how amazing pictures are? The fact that someone can take images of themselves and those they love and those photographs can be looked at by other family members a hundred years later is truly amazing. Such a wonderful gift God has given us!

Of course, now we see things digitally. My son sent pictures of the family yesterday. All I did was click the little arrow on the screen and I was able to see picture after picture of them.

I wonder. Will they look at pictures of me and have fond memories? Maybe shed a tear? Maybe recall something funny about me (there are many to recall)?

Today, take time to pull out some pictures of the family. Don't just walk past those you have on tables or hanging on walls. Take the time to savor the memories they conjure up. Take the time to thank God for those in the photographs. And, take the time to thank God for photography. Another wonderful gift he has given us!
