I'm in a motor home full of late sleepers! I finally got up and am posting with them still in bed. I imagine it won't be long before the clicking of the keys awakens them.
My last day of vacation. I hope to make the most of the day with my family. We'll be off to see one more Dodger game before heading home. I may not be able to post in the morning. We'll be back home on Thursday so things should be back to normal . . . well, as normal as my life can be.
What a blessing to be able to spend a few days relaxing. Troubles follow you wherever you go but somehow, away from the situations, you seem to be able to forget them for a while.
Have you tried to write a devotion with three boys aged 4-11 talking in your ear? Quite a challenge. I know many parents and grandparents who would love the problem I have!
Is your family close to each other (relationship wise, that is)? You are blessed.
Are you able to see your family regularly? You are blessed.
Are your children walking in the ways of the Lord? You are blessed.
Some are not able to answer yes to these questions. My prayer for you is that God will restore what you do not have. If he does not, may you be comforted in his love and care for you.
Tell your children or grandchildren you love them. Tell them how much joy they bring to your life. Don't put it off. Do it today. Life is full of unexpected turns. Who knows if you will have the chance to tell them tomorrow.
Going to tell my family how much I love them . . . today, Gloria
