Okay, it's only 6:30 in the morning and I've already made an idiot of myself, not once, but twice! I want give you the gory details but it had to do with posts I made on a group list I'm part of. Now, not only do my family and friends know how ditsy I am, everyone on this particular list does, too. Oh, the shame!
I guess no one likes to look stupid, dumb or inept. I know I don't. However, I seem to find myself looking that way quite often. It's enough to make you want to lock yourself in a room and have your family slide your meals under the door!
Why are there some people, many which are my acquaintances, that seem to have it all together ?They have few "glitches" of ineptness on the books. Me? I think my record could fill the Library of Congress!
I do have one consolation. When God looks at me, he sees me perfect. Wow! That is totally awesome for someone like me.
Do you see "glitches" in your life? Areas you feel you fall short? Feelings of inadequacy?
If you are a Christian (someone who has asked Jesus to come into your life and be your Savior and Lord) then you can join me in rejoicing that God doesn't see us as flawed individuals. He sees us as new creations because of our faith in his son, Jesus. Now, doesn't make you want to say Hallelujah? Yes? Well, do it! Right now! Shout it out loud. Who cares if your family thinks you're crazy. Shout hallelujah. I'll wait until you do it. zzzzzzzzzzz
Now, didn't that feel good? I think it made God feel good. too!
Shouting hallelujah, since everybody in my family already thinks I'm crazy, Gloria
