Inventions

As promised, I will continue my discussion on snoring.

I have found a remedy for it, snoring, that is. It's a little piece of plastic someone invented that you form to your teeth. It makes your chin jut out and keeps the airway passage open.

I'm not going to tell you how ridiculous I look with my mouth full of plastic and my jaw jutting out. Just stick your jaw out as far as you can, then look in the mirror. You will get an indication of what I look like. Needless to say, it's not a very pretty picture. My husband and I have been married so long I don't have to worry about how horrible I look. I'm not even sure he notices the difference!

Humans are fearfully and wonderfully made, just a little lower than the angels the scripture says. Part of that wonder is the mind. God put into some the ability to think and dream and visualize what could be. They worked and studied until their ideas came to fruition. As a result, we have so many wonderful inventions. The car, the refrigerator, air conditioning, and yes, even the iron (although I use it as little as possible). You can name thousands of things that make our life easier. They all came about because God created us fearfully and wonderfully.

Today, as you use things that are usually taken for granted, take time to thank God for inventions that make your life easier.

Thanking God for the creation of an anti-snoring device, Gloria

Sippy cups, digital cameras, floss picks, blogs, tasers, a van with sliding doors...don't have one, but would love to, scented candles, hot air ballons...thank-you God for these.

Christina, great list. I especially love my digital camera. I'm thinking about the taser!
