In Good Hands

Well, today officially starts the new year for me. It marks the end of the holidays. I'm always sad because it means tearing down the beautiful lights and colorful decorations. Although, I have been known to hang on to them until the end of January!

What lies ahead for us this year? Do you wish you knew? I'm not sure I would want to know. If it is good that is coming my way, it would spoil the surprise and I love surprises. If it is bad, I might become despondent. I think God is wise in not allowing us to see our future.

So, since we don't know what lies ahead, let's ask God to guide us in whatever is coming our way, good or bad. Let's live THIS day in a God honoring way.

There's an insurance commercial that says, "You're in good hands with Allstate." I declare we are in good hands...the hands of God. He holds both us and our future. I'd say that means we're pretty secure, even better than Allstate!

Rejoicing that my future is in God's hands, Gloria
