I can barely keep my eyes open and feel like I've been drugged so anything you read here today has to take that into consideration. And, it's already 7 in the morning!
If you know me or have read my blog much, you know I am an early riser. I chide (in a loving way, of course) my husband because he wakes up in a fog and must move about a bit before he is truly "awake." Is it payback time? I know the Bible says we reap what we sow but I hope this is a temporary thing.
It made me think about how blessed I am regarding my health. I may have a few malfunctions of the body but in the light of the problems I could have I am truly blessed. I am blessed that I have eyesight to see those I love. Some can't. I am blessed that I can hear the sweet laughter of my grandchildren. Some can't. I am blessed that I can walk through a forest of redwoods and marvel at the majesty of God's creation. Some can't.
Today as we look at things, listen to sounds and walk about, lets thank God that we have the ability to do such things. Some can't.
Hoping not to take for granted what I have, Gloria
