If You're Breathing, You Should Be Praising

Life can surely have highs and lows can't it. I've been riding that roller coaster for many months now. Sometimes I thought I couldn't possibly get through a day. I praised God. Other days I was on top of the mountain. I praised God.

The truth is, praising God is so much easier on the mountaintop. Not so in the valley. Yet, I think it is possibly more important to praise God when we're in the valley than on the mountaintop. Anybody can praise God when things are going great. No test of faith there. Ah, those valleys. Not so easy there!

Praise seems to push the dark clouds up a little so that they do not engulf us and we can breath a little easier. It gives us hope. It confirms our faith in a mighty God who can be trusted. It not only confirms our faith , it strengthens our faith.

When you go through some difficulty in your life, I pray God will bring to mind this blog and you will remember at least one word you read here this morning. PRAISE.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord"

Praising the Lord, Gloria
