I'm crushed! Here's why.
Yesterday I took my seven year old grandson to the movies. On the way home we stopped at the grocery store. His family eats mostly all natural and organic things so we picked up a box of organic cereal with no gluten. I, on the other hand, picked up some Sugar Sweet Full of Junk That Will Taste Just You're Eating Candy cereal. Not really. But I did get some Honey Nut Cheerios.
This morning I was telling my husband we bought the organic cereal but was having trouble remembering the name. My grandson (remember, he's only seven) quickly told his Paw Paw the name of the cereal. Then he turned to me, laughed and said. "Nanny, I think my brain is bigger than yours."
Agony! Pain! My seven year old grandson thinks he's smarter than his grandmother. See what being forgetful can get you!
I guess I'll have to live with the fact that my grandchildren think they have bigger brains than I do. I just hope they think I have a bigger heart!
Thanking God for grandchildren with such big brains, Gloria
