Willing to Change?

Change is inevitable. If you don't believe me, look in the mirror. Do you look like you did ten years ago? How about twenty? Okay, move away from the mirror. I don't want you to get depressed. That's not the purpose of this post. But, I do have a purpose.

It seems as some people get older they have more trouble with change. I don't understand why some are afflicted with this disease and some aren't. Perhaps it has something to do with wills; not the, "When I die, they will read my will." No, this is the, "This is the way I have always done it and by cracky I intend to keep on doing it this way," kind of will.

God gave us a will. It is his desire that we will to give our hearts and lives to him. It is his desire that we will to worship him. God desires that we will to change when change will bring glory to him.

We must be careful that we do not will to go against what will bring glory to God. That is not God's desire.

Hope I am willing to change if it will bring glory to God, Gloria

Thanks for this gentle reminder, Gloria, to start my day out by giving my will over to God's will. What a great wake-up challenge! -Nancy
